Summit Design + Build completes Patzik, Frank & Samotny’s new West Loop office.

CHICAGO – Chicago general contractor, Summit Design + Build, LLC, recently completed the interior build-out of Patzik, Frank & Samotny’s new office at 200 S. Wacker in Chicago’s West Loop. The law firm’s new headquarters occupies the entire 17th floor and totals 17,135 square feet.

Relocating for their former offices at 150 S. Wacker, Patzik, Frank & Samotny’s new office includes nine conference and meeting rooms, 34 private offices along the exterior wall, open office work stations, custom reception desk, wellness room and updated kitchen. The space has numerous custom features including a media wall at reception, high-end finishes and custom millwork including sliding barn doors. Work started with selective interior demolition to prepare the space for the build-out. In order to ensure the tenant was in their new space on time, Summit worked diligently to accelerate the schedule from 12 to seven weeks.

“There were a lot of moving parts on this job, especially with the accelerated schedule,” said Helenia Madrigal, Director of Interiors, Summit Design + Build. “Hiring the right subcontractors, working closely with the architect and utilizing Procore as much as possible made all the difference, not to mention the great team of individuals that Summit selected for the job.”

Summit worked alongside project architect, Forum Studios, project manager, Savills Studley, MEP engineers, Environmental Systems Design, and structural engineer, Klein & Hoffman, to complete the Patzik, Frank & Samotny build-out.
