The Southeast office of general contractor Summit Design + Build, recently started construction of two interior renovations and build-outs.

TAMPA, FL – Located at 501 East Kennedy the Frank Recruitment Group and WeWork will occupy a total of 68,000 square feet in the 20-story, Class A office tower in Downtown Tampa that will soon don the name WeWork Place.

The first project to get underway, WeWork Place is the second location announced by the coworking giant in the growing Tampa market following Heights Union. Built in two phases, the space will feature more the 1,000 desks, conference rooms, board rooms, team rooms, community bar, and a new communicating, internal staircase across floors 14, 15 and 16 and will total just under 60,000 square feet.

The second project, an interior renovation for Frank Recruitment Group, will total 10,900 square feet on the building’s 19th floor. The international technology staffing business will relocate from the building’s 16th floor with their new space featuring open offices, reception, huddle rooms, conference and meeting rooms, phone booths, and a café and employee lounge.

ASD|SKY and AI Collaborative Inc. are providing design services for WeWork and Frank Recruitment Group respectively. 501 East Kennedy is owned and managed by Commercial Florida.
