Summit Design + Build, LLC recently completed the build-out for CH Carolina Herrera.
The boutique is located at 70 E. Oak Street in Chicago’s Gold Coast neighborhood. This is the first Chicago location for the renown Venezuelan-American designer.
According to Mike Swann, project manager leading the project team for Summit Design + Build, the new 2,500 sq. ft. boutique features imported millwork and finishes from Spain; wood, travertine and marble slab flooring; high gloss lacquered paneling and LED video walls. The build-out was completed in October 2013.
The firm has also started construction on a 3,800 sq. ft. build out for a new CH Carolina Herrera boutique in NorthPark Center, a large enclosed upscale shopping mall, located in Dallas, Texas. The newest CH Carolina Herrera boutique will feature many of the same high-end finishes but will be larger with a new open store design and modeled after their Madison Avenue flagship store. This will be the only CH Carolina Herrera boutique in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Completion is scheduled for January 2014.
Tony Denofrio, Superintendent of Summit Design + Build, was responsible for the on-site construction of the Chicago boutique and is currently overseeing the on-site construction in Dallas. New York based Kenneth Park Architects provided architectural services for both the Chicago and Dallas locations.
