Construction continues on 7234 Bannockburn Lakes tenant amenity center

Site work wraps, build-out of new, modern tenant amenity center commences

CHICAGO – Chicago general contractor, Summit Design + Build, LLC, recently began work on the new tenant amenity center at Bannockburn Lakes in Bannockburn, Ill. The construction of the new center follows the completion of site work at the property, which included the new construction of a terrace seating area and pond feature.

Acquired in 2015 by GlenStar Properties, Bannockburn Lakes consists of four buildings with a total of 420,613 square feet. The new tenant amenity center will be housed in Building II of the office campus, with access to the space available to all Bannockburn Lakes employees. The 7,234 square foot build-out includes a modern cafeteria, conference center, and new fitness center with men’s and women’s locker rooms. Work is slated for spring completion.

Summit Design + Build also completed site work on the 66 acre property, including the demo and re-pavement of all entries and main drives, addition and reconfiguration of parking, modification of detention ponds, upgrades to site lighting and signage, and the aforementioned terrace at Building II.

Manhard Consulting and Teska and Associates provided architectural and engineering services for the site work. Interworks Architects and MEPC McGuire Engineers are providing architectural and engineering services respectively for the amenity center.
