Summit Design + Build is leading the charge for making capital improvements to The Bloc’s new boxing gym. The Bloc is more than a boxing club, the organization helps to train, tutor and mentor youth to academic, social and athletic success. The Bloc contributes to the momentum of improving Chicago’s future by attracting youth who are least likely to join mentoring and tutoring programs.
The Bloc operates out of an old church in West Humboldt park and it is our goal to transform the space into a fully functional boxing gym and mentoring center. Summit is donating our time and resources to create a space where The Bloc’s members can build a strong foundation for success but we need your help!
