CHICAGO – Chicago general contractor, Summit Design + Build, LLC, along with City Pads, Catapult Real Estate Solutions, and Cagan Management Group recently started construction of 6145 N. Broadway in Chicago’s Edgewater neighborhood. The project kicked off with the demolition of an existing single-story building.
The new six-story, 79,000 square foot apartment building at 6145 N. Broadway will feature 105 apartment units ranging from studios to two-bedrooms. The building will also have 3,700 square feet of first floor retail space and 45 parking spaces. 6145 N. Broadway is located just off of the Granville Red Line stop and within walking distance of the Loyola University Chicago campus.
For future tenants, units and amenities will include:
- in unit washer and dryer,
- parking lot with electrical vehicle chargers,
- bike room,
- storage lockers,
- fitness center with yoga room,
- community spaces including a TV lounge and community kitchen,
- and an outdoor patio with paver fire pit.
Built Form is serving as the project architect for 6145 N. Broadway. Construction of 6145 N. Broadway is scheduled to be complete by spring 2020.
