At Summit Design + Build, we’re always looking to partner with skilled and reliable subcontractors who share our commitment to quality, safety, and integrity. We use TradeTapp, a prequalification platform that helps streamline and standardize our subcontractor approval process.
About TradeTapp
TradeTapp, part of the BuildingConnected network, allows subcontractors to securely share company and financial information with general contractors. By using this system, we can efficiently review qualifications, ensure compliance, and connect qualified trade partners with upcoming project opportunities.
How to Get Qualified
If your company is interested in becoming a qualified subcontractor with Summit Design + Build, please complete the form at the bottom of this page. Once we receive your submission, our team will send you an email invitation to join TradeTapp.
When setting up your account, please make sure your company and contact information are accurate and consistent across both TradeTapp and BuildingConnected, as these platforms work together to manage prequalification and bidding.
If your company already has a TradeTapp or BuildingConnected account, you can simply log in using your existing credentials.
What You’ll Need to Provide
Every subcontractor must upload the following items in TradeTapp to complete the prequalification process:
- Current Certificate of Insurance
- Current Letter from Bonding Company
- Current W-9 Form
- Current Safety Manual
- Audited or Reviewed Financial Statements for the Past Three Years
- OSHA 300/300A Logs for the Past Three Years
- EMR (Experience Modification Rate) for the Past Three Years
Ready to Get Started?
Once your company is qualified, you’ll be eligible to receive invitations to bid on Summit projects. We use BuildingConnected to manage all bid communications. Through BuildingConnected, you’ll receive invitations to bid, access to drawings and specifications, and submit your proposal through the platform’s electronic bid forms.
