Summit Design + Build is currently seeking experienced and motivated Superintendents who desire an exciting and challenging environment to join our growing team. Our Superintendents are responsible for the daily on-site management of construction jobs, for an assigned project. Superintendents must manage and coordinate the work of all subcontractors working on the job site, to ensure accomplishment of all of Summit Design + Build’s objectives related to: schedule, quality, safety, cost control, and client satisfaction.
Please note that we do NOT self-perform work and are NOT seeking Journeymen Carpenters.
Desired Skills & Experience
A minimum of 10 years of experience in mid-rise residential, complex commercial ground-up construction and tenant improvement work is required. Applicants must also have a solution-oriented mindset; an aptitude for teamwork; good time management skills; excellent leadership, organizational and communication skills; the ability to achieve schedule deadlines while maintaining a quality and safe construction environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word and Project is also required. Experience with Procore and the use of handheld/tablet technology is preferred.
